Career Work
Do you dread going to work each morning? Did you “follow your passion” but now find yourself feeling unfulfilled and frustrated? Are you wondering if changing careers is the right move for you?
To experience a fully happy life, it’s important to have a career that you love. But a recent study concluded that over 50% of Americans are dissatisfied (if not downright unhappy) with their work. This dissatisfaction can lead to stress, anxiety and even depression. This unhappiness can also bleed over into your personal life, negatively impacting the relationships you have with friends and loved ones.
I have been there. I have nearly 20 years of corporate experience in the US and Japan. I have experienced pleasure, dread, and I can relate virtually everything described to me by people when work is described. I have helped many people address their career path by helping fix what wasn’t working or by helping muster the conviction to find a path to change—or as I like to say, pivot—careers.
Whether it’s fixing what you have or completely changing your career, having a seasoned guide to assist can make a huge difference. People have described this work as frightening at first but ultimately invigorating and freeing regardless of their stage in life.
I help people:
- Reduce work-related stress
- Attend to people problems by increasing emotional intelligence (EQ)
- Reduce anxiety related to public speaking
- Reduce anxiety before interviews
- Figure out if their current path is right for them
- Figure out how to change careers at any stage if that is what is right for them
